This is how we hope to describe the Senior Accountant that will soon join Dataiku to help us build out our finance and accounting teams in EMEA and globally.**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in month-end close process and meeting deadlines
- Prepare and record monthly transactions to support the G/L close
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Work with third party accounting/tax firms to ensure the completion of Financial Statements, Tax return and VAT return for our legal entity in Germany
- Work with FP&A to identify and explain fluctuations in monthly financial information
- Work with and support revenue accounting team
- Support the annual year-end audit and any regulatory or tax audits
- Participate in system implementations, improvements, and upgrades
- Work with and support international accounting teams
- Support tax projects and tax accounting
- Support the financial reporting processes for internal and external reporting
- Assist in setting up processes and procedures for new international entities
- Participate in month-end consolidation process
- Perform ad hoc projects for management

**Qualifications**:

- BS or above degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- German Gaap required
- 10+ years experience, Big 4 experienced preferred
- Able to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
- Able to work on a team and independently to deliver results
- Netsuite experience preferred
- International exposure is a plus
- Knowledge of Oracle Netsuite is a plus
- SEC exposure is a plus
