We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven
Investment Associate
to join our Private Equity team. In this role, you will play a central part in evaluating, executing, and managing investment opportunities across a range of industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, sound commercial judgment, and a deep understanding of private equity investment strategies. This is a hands-on position with exposure to the full deal lifecycle — from sourcing and diligence to portfolio management and exit planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation of target companies using models such as DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
  • Support due diligence processes including market research, competitive analysis, customer and supplier calls, and coordination with external advisors (legal, tax, accounting).
  • Prepare investment memoranda and internal presentations for the investment committee.
  • Participate in deal execution, including negotiation of key terms, legal documentation, and transaction structuring.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance through financial review, board materials, KPIs, and engagement with management teams.
  • Work closely with operating partners and portfolio company executives to support value creation initiatives, strategic planning, and performance improvement.
  • Assist in exit strategy development and execution, including sales processes, IPO preparation, and market assessments.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, macroeconomic developments, and investment landscape changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field from a top-tier institution; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or transaction advisory.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital structures, and private equity investment mechanics.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook, Bloomberg).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into concise, persuasive materials.
  • Experience interacting with senior management and external advisors is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
