About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Operations Region Central to join our team at Nordex Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex and large volume construction projects in Region Central, ensuring successful delivery within agreed cost, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Develop and inspire a highly skilled team of project managers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Plan, monitor, and control project costs and performance, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks through proactive management.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for employees and complying with regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company to customers and business partners, building strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Manage subcontractors and interfaces with other Group departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Contribute to the Region Central Management Team, driving project management-related issues and initiatives, and promoting best practices.
Requirements
  • Technical background with a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing civil engineering and construction projects, with responsibility for multi-million EURO contracts and portfolios.
  • Strong track record in managing operational project units, ideally within a larger company with complex structures and international experience.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading, motivating, and developing teams of experts.
  • Strategic-analytical thinking and acting, with implementation strength and experience in contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and German.
