IT Delivery Manager with Focus on FinOps and Supplier Management

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Manager to join our team at Union IT-Services GmbH. As a key member of our Service Catalogue and Supplier Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a bedarfsoptimiertes (need-optimized) offering of standard IT services, which will be utilized by our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain the FinOps model for our cloud services, working closely with our FinOps team.
  • Develop and maintain the technical IT Service Portfolio, ensuring it is aligned with customer needs and optimized for cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the management of IT service providers through Service Levels for Infrastructure Operations and Technical Application Operations, ensuring a stable operation and optimal performance quality.
  • Act as a value-added partner for our departmental teams, supporting them in finding suitable solutions and promoting standardization and cost optimization.
  • Be responsible for financial planning, billing, and settlement of services provided by our infrastructure service providers.
  • Provide regular reporting on cost development and service usage of the Service Portfolio.
Requirements
  • Completed studies or a well-structured IT education.
  • Interest in IT operations based on ITIL processes.
  • Structured approach to developing standardized solutions for our departments.
  • Good understanding of Enterprise IT architecture.
  • Excellent moderation and communication skills, combined with the ability to achieve goals in a partnership-oriented manner with both our service providers and departmental teams.
  • Identify cost-saving potential, regularly inform yourself about the cost development of your services, and support our controlling to ensure a fair and transparent internal cost allocation.
