Drive Value for Siemens Business Units

As Category Head for Procurement Pooling Global Mobility Services, you will play a key role in driving value for Siemens Business Units and Corporate Headquarters. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategic procurement opportunities that leverage efficiency, availability, quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the Mobility Service (Sourcing) strategy and processes, including global responsibility throughout the Siemens SCM/Procurement network, with a purchasing volume of ~ 2 billion € in alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Guide, inspire, and empower global leaders and their respective HQ teams of around 30 employees.
  • Lead the global community and various initiatives within Travel and Fleet Management.
  • Act as a role model and proactively lead transformation of the organization and workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and guidelines in the area of responsibility.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive implementation.
  • Strengthen and shape the Siemens-wide SCM community.
  • Deliver targeted results, including full responsibility for Purchasing Volume, Cost center, and Headcount, and other important metrics.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Supply Chain Management/Procurement of indirect material related experience, ideally in MS procurement, with a consistent track record in setting new standards for procurement/SCM related processes.
  • Market knowledge in the areas of global Travel and Fleet Management and a good network in these areas.
  • Market knowledge of the financial industry for payment solutions relevant for the category.
  • Skilled in analyzing trends and disruptive solutions in these industries on a global and regional level.
  • Experience in driving emerging trends in Travel and Fleet and implementing the latest technologies.
  • Extensive global leadership responsibility with experience in leading leaders and global teams in a dynamic, multidimensional environment.
  • Strong networking skills in building sustainable partnerships in the area of Travel & Fleet Management.
  • Profound experience in developing and driving strategy, innovation, and change.
  • Track record for a strong cross-functional, international, and cross-business cooperation.
  • Expertise in transformation, benchmarking, and strategy projects.
  • A university degree in an economy-related field or an equivalent education.
  • Business fluency in German and a very good command of English.
  • Frequent business travels are required.
