Position Overview:

In today's digital landscape, a robust network is essential for data management and operational success. We are seeking a seasoned network engineer who can design and implement a network infrastructure tailored to meet the evolving demands of our clients.

Your Role:

As a Senior F5 BIG-IP Network Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience to architect, deploy, and sustain network systems, focusing on F5 BIG-IP technologies. Your contributions will be pivotal in supporting national defense initiatives and adapting to emerging challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS to enhance client operations and drive modernization efforts.
  • Employ your expertise in F5 BIG-IP and traffic management technologies to provide strategic guidance on critical projects.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and best practices to influence national security missions positively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing F5 Appliances in a large-scale IT environment.
  • Proficient in F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM for at least 3 years.
  • Familiarity with F5 modules such as ASM or APM.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • DoD IAM II Certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification.
  • Certification in Global Traffic Manager (GTM) or Local Traffic Manager (LTM).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automation scripting languages, including Python or Bash.
  • Understanding of U.S. Department of Defense military standards.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
