We are a dynamic and innovative company within the Runden Group, dedicated to making the world more sustainable and reducing waste in the food supply chain. As a Category Manager Meat, you will play a crucial role in expanding our sales in the Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg region.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and acquire new companies in the food sector, focusing on the meat category
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships to drive sustainable sales growth
  • Take ownership of a defined food category, driving sales and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve regional and cross-sector sales targets
  • Evaluate customer needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements
  • Promote our services and develop industry-specific sales and marketing campaigns
  • Prepare and present individual offers, driving results and growth
  • Conduct market and customer analyses to inform business decisions
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, congresses, and conferences
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders
Your Ideal Profile:
  • Completed training or professional experience in a related field, such as business or a technical degree
  • Relevant sales experience, preferably in the meat and meat processing industry
  • Strong network in the food sector, with a focus on the meat category
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Fluency in Dutch and good written and spoken English skills, with other European languages an advantage
