We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager Meat to join our team at WBG Pooling GmbH & Co. KG. As a Category Manager Meat, you will be responsible for expanding sales in the Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg region.

• Research and acquire companies from the food sector, focusing on the meat food category.
• Develop and maintain business relationships to sustainably increase sales.
• Take ownership of a defined food category.
• Drive regional and cross-sector cross-selling.
• Evaluate customer requirements and develop solutions.
• Promote and actively sell our services.
• Design, prepare, and implement industry-specific sales and marketing campaigns.
• Create and process individual offers with responsibility for results.
• Conduct market and customer analyses.
• Attend and organize trade fairs, congresses, and conferences.
• Prepare reports.

• Completed training and professional experience or a business/technical degree related to the food sector.
• Relevant professional experience in sales.
• Experience in the meat and meat processing industry.
• Experience in food production or processing and retail is a strong advantage.
• Good active network in the food sector.
• Confident handling of MS Office.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Very good Dutch and good written and spoken English skills, other European languages an advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving skills, a sense of responsibility, and a high level of commitment.
