Job Description

We are a leading company in the food supply chain industry, committed to making the world more sustainable and reducing waste. As a Category Manager Food, you will play a crucial role in expanding our sales in France and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and acquire new companies in the food sector, including producers, processors, and retailers.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships to increase sales sustainably.
  • Identify opportunities for regional and cross-sector cross-selling.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and create tailored solutions.
  • Promote and sell our services to customers.
  • Design and implement industry-specific sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and process individual offers, taking ownership of results.
  • Conduct market and customer analyses.
  • Attend and organize trade fairs, congresses, and conferences.
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
Requirements
  • Completed training or professional experience in a related field, such as business or food technology.
  • Relevant sales experience, preferably in the meat and meat processing industry.
  • Strong network in the food sector.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with travel (approximately 50% of the time).
  • Excellent French language skills and good written and spoken English skills, with additional European languages an asset.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving skills, a sense of responsibility, and a high level of commitment.
