We are a dynamic and innovative company within the Runden Group, dedicated to making the world more sustainable and reducing waste in the food supply chain. As a Category Manager Meat, you will play a crucial role in expanding our sales in the Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg region.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and acquire new companies in the food sector, focusing on the meat category
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships to drive sustainable sales growth
  • Take ownership of a defined food category, driving sales and revenue growth
  • Identify opportunities for regional and cross-sector cross-selling
  • Evaluate customer requirements and develop tailored solutions
  • Promote and sell our services to customers
  • Design and implement industry-specific sales and marketing campaigns
  • Develop and process individual offers, with a focus on results
  • Analyze market and customer trends to inform business decisions
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and other industry events
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders
Your Ideal Profile:
  • Completed training or professional experience in a related field, such as business or a technical degree
  • Relevant sales experience, preferably in the meat and meat processing industry
  • Strong network in the food sector, with a focus on the meat category
  • Proficient in MS Office and confident in your communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Excellent Dutch and good written and spoken English skills, with other European languages an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a sense of responsibility, and a high level of commitment
