We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Optimization Strategist to join our team at AXA Group Operations.
Job SummaryThis role involves ensuring the effective evolution of AXA's FinOps strategy to increase the level of FinOps maturity across the Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing tracking and implementing AXA FinOps activities, improving cost visibility and transparency of all cloud component costs across AXA, and liaising with AXA GO Products on price cards and charging mechanisms.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive FinOps strategy aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of FinOps activities
- Analyze and optimize cloud spend to achieve maximum ROI
- Liaise with cloud service providers to negotiate optimal pricing and terms
- Provide expert guidance on licensing process and governance activities
- Experience in cloud operations and/or financial management, familiar with cloud-based architectures, cloud provider tools, financial and systems for budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to influence topics and people to achieve results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior management
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Office Suite & Power BI, with extensive knowledge of Excel required
- Fluency in English mandatory, French optional
