Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager - Supplier to join our team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe. As a key member of our Supplier Quality Assurance Team, you will be responsible for planning and managing overall activities, processes, and human resources to ensure our suppliers meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement APQP procedures for new development models, working closely with the Product Development Team and suppliers to ensure a clean launch.
- Pre-qualify suppliers for complex commodities, such as high-precision plastic molded parts and die-cast parts, to ensure they meet our quality requirements.
- Verify supplier readiness for clean launch and successful handover to serial production, ensuring parts-quality meets our standards.
- Review and verify design and production processes for high-risk parts to ensure they meet our quality requirements.
- Participate in regular supplier performance evaluation and determine corrective actions to ensure successful closure.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering, Quality Assurance, and/or Purchasing in the automotive industry.
- APQP expertise and knowledge of VDA processes.
- Ability to understand technical contents, development risks, and countermeasures to plan reasonable milestones for a successful launch.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-cultural team environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain written procedures.
