Supplier Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Team Leader to join our Supplier Quality Assurance team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and managing overall activities, processes, and human resources to ensure accountability within the Supplier Quality Assurance Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the planning and follow-up of development milestones per APQP procedure to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Conduct pre-qualification of suppliers, especially for complex commodities, to ensure their ability to meet our quality and delivery requirements.
  • Review and verify design and production processes for high-risk parts to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Regularly evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering, Quality Assurance, and/or Purchasing within the automotive industry.
  • Expertise in APQP, VDA, and qualification of VDA process auditor.
  • Ability to understand technical contents, development risks, and countermeasures.
  • Strong leadership, deadline management, and project prioritization skills.
