About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our new business efforts in Germany. As the Head of New Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive new business strategy to drive revenue growth and expansion in the German market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, qualification, and needs analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product specialists, to develop and deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Manage the new business cycle, from pitch to contract negotiation and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the German market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering new business targets in a tech or consulting environment.
  • Strong network of senior contacts within German grocery retailers.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
  • Consultative approach to selling, with a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to develop tailored solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
