Territory Sales Manager

Job Summary
The Territory Manager will serve Cook patients while increasing sales and profitability in the assigned territory. This will be achieved by implementing local sales and marketing strategies agreed with the Regional Manager and supporting the goals and general strategies of the Specialty.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets by working independently in the assigned territory to present and sell products and services to key decision makers.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the product range and associated medical disciplines.
- Provide technical training and support to medical personnel on the use of Cook's medical devices.
- Manage territory budgets for local events and sample stock.
- Develop and maintain an annual business plan, including sales increases, risk management, sales opportunities, and contingency plans.
- Follow-through on customer requests and commitments.
- Monitor and increase market share and competitor activity in the assigned territory.
- Participate in local and international exhibitions and meetings as requested.
- Establish and develop relationships with key clinical and non-clinical decision-makers.
- Work closely with the sales team and Cook support functions to provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Business Care Integration teams to develop contractual opportunities and maximize service to customers and patients.
- Seek and evaluate new product ideas, provide information, and facilitate ongoing communication.
- Understand and follow Cook quality policies and procedures.
- Comply with all policies, including the Code of Conduct, Interaction with Healthcare Professionals, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Previous medical sales experience preferred.
- Product or procedural knowledge an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Language skills - good written and verbal command of English and other relevant languages.
- Excellent numeric skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- High self-motivation.
- Ability to meet frequently with customers and other decision makers.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory.
