About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Specialist to join our team at SunExpress. As a key member of our Commercial Department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our key customers, driving sales growth and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Price Negotiations: Administer price negotiations with key customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Price Calculation: Calculate prices for full-charter operations upon request, taking into account various factors and market trends.
  • Contract Management: Prepare and update seasonal contracts, monitoring the signing process to ensure timely execution.
  • Route Development: Offer tour operators and key customers current and new routes for the upcoming season, driving sales growth and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Agreement Administration: Prepare and update Master Agreements, Charter Contracts, and appendices, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Tour Operator Support: Provide support to tour operators on various requests, including planning new routes, cancellations, and updates to seat allocations, price reductions, and side-letter agreements.
  • Sales System Optimization: Optimize the functionality of the sales system for the Tour Operator Relations Department, setting up user specifications and generating change requests.
  • Sales Meetings: Organize sales meetings to inform and coordinate with other Commercial departments, driving sales growth and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Trade Show Representation: Represent the company at travel fairs and tour operator presentations, promoting our brand and services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as travel and tourism.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a related work area, preferably in the airline or tour operator industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, experience with airline or tour operator reservation systems, excellent knowledge of English and German, both verbally and in writing, with good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel, as required.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical skills, strategic decision-making, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
