Your Role
As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our continued success by optimizing our procurement processes and building strong relationships with suppliers.
- Procurement Excellence: Conduct comprehensive procurement processes, including needs analysis, market research, tendering, and price comparisons to secure the best value for our organization.
- Negotiation & Supplier Management: Lead national and international price negotiations and framework purchasing agreements. Cultivate and manage strong supplier relationships, evaluating their performance and implementing strategies to enhance collaboration.
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sustainable category strategies that align with our business objectives. Continuously monitor global market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
- Cost Optimization & Innovation: Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to identify and implement cost reduction measures. Drive innovation by exploring new materials, technologies, and sourcing options.
Your Profile
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in strategic procurement.
- Completed commercial training with additional qualification as a Business Administrator/Technical Business Administrator or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in strategic/operational procurement within a technical environment.
- In-depth understanding of production processes, key performance indicators, bills of materials, and manufacturing cost calculation.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and supplier management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS-Office and SAP software.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
