Company Overview:

Our client stands at the forefront of innovation in the automotive sector, specializing in the design and execution of lightweight solutions. They are currently in search of a skilled professional to fulfill the role of Strategic Procurement Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement activities, including needs assessment, market analysis, tendering, and price evaluations.
  • Facilitate national and international negotiations, culminating in the establishment of framework purchasing agreements.
  • Enhance and broaden supplier management practices, including supplier assessments and performance metrics.
  • Formulate and execute sustainable category strategies.
  • Streamline processes and achieve cost efficiencies through comprehensive global market analysis.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain supplier relationships to foster advantageous partnerships.
  • Independently manage procurement projects from inception to completion.

Qualifications:

  • Completed commercial training with an additional qualification as a Business Administrator or Technical Business Administrator, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in strategic and operational procurement, coupled with a robust technical background.
  • Familiarity with production methodologies, key performance indicators, bills of materials, and cost calculations in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of contract law and supplier management principles.
  • Exhibit a professional, proactive demeanor with a hands-on approach.
  • Possess strong negotiation, communication, and assertiveness capabilities.
  • Demonstrate a structured, precise, efficient, and results-driven work ethic.
  • High level of collaboration, motivation, thoroughness, and dependability.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and SAP software.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
