About the Role

Campbell Scientific is seeking an experienced Aviation Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our global organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic business development plan to drive growth and revenue in the aviation weather market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the aviation weather market, including surface observation networks, new business development, and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs and preferences, and to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve company goals and objectives, including revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer acquisition.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including aviation project partners, air navigation service providers, and other related customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical services, to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform business development strategies and drive growth.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management on business development progress, market trends, and customer insights.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a focus on the aviation weather market.
  • Skills: Strong business development and sales skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or a related field.
