About the Role
As the Managing Director, DACH, you'll be a strategic leader driving Twitch's creator growth and commerce initiatives in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and German-speaking streamers globally. You're a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to enhance our creator ecosystem.
You'll lead a team of high-performing professionals, collaborating with regional and global teams to achieve shared goals. Your responsibilities encompass developing and executing long-term strategies for content creation, creator relations, and commerce activities within the DACH region.
Your Responsibilities- Partnerships: Manage and oversee Twitch's content and creator business in DACH, fostering strong relationships with creators and driving their success on the platform.
- Implement strategic initiatives to increase creator satisfaction, engagement, and revenue within the DACH region.
- Lead cross-functional programs and collaborations to support creators and enhance their experience on Twitch.
- Commerce: Oversee all commerce activities in the EU, including strategy development, planning, and execution of localized initiatives.
- Manage relevant EU Commerce P&Ls, collaborating with global commerce teams and internal stakeholders to achieve financial targets.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the DACH region's commerce landscape.
You possess a proven track record of success in leading teams, driving strategic initiatives, and achieving measurable results. Your passion for the creator economy and deep understanding of the gaming and UGC content landscape are essential to this role.
Bonus points if you have business-level proficiency in a second language (French, Spanish, or Italian).
