Business Development Manager, Process Development Solutions

As a Business Development Manager, Process Development Services, you will be part of a dynamic team that drives the growth of Cytiva's Process Development Services solutions and technologies. Your mission will be to develop and execute a sales action plan that meets or exceeds our European sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate EMEA biotech and biopharma molecule pipelines to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across various segments, modalities, and workflows.
  • Showcase a deep understanding of our customers' economic, regulatory, and operational challenges to drive the evolution of Cytiva's Process Development business.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Fast Trak lab leaders, and Project Management to incorporate customer feedback and track projects from quote generation to completion.
  • Engage in or lead continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in bioprocess or related fields, with 3 years in commercial roles in the Biotech, Biopharma, or CDMO field.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop and close sales opportunities.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of process development needs in mAbs, VV, and new modalities to effectively interpret customer needs.
