Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Central Hub Operations Specialist to join our team at Flink. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our processes and ensuring seamless execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize our processes.
  • Deep Dives: Conduct in-depth analyses of existing processes, collecting data, mapping out processes, and performing gap analyses to pinpoint bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Documentation: Assist in developing clear documentation for optimized processes, including drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contributing to process flowcharts.
  • Tech Team Collaboration: Support the Product and Data Teams in exploring opportunities for process enhancement and implementing process changes.
  • KPI Tracking: Support in defining and monitoring KPIs and metrics to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Process Monitoring: Aid in overseeing the implementation of process improvements and changes, gathering data to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate the results of process improvements to relevant stakeholders, providing clear insights into the impact of optimizations.
Requirements
  • Background: Background in economics, or STEM.
  • Work Experience: 0-2 years of work experience, ideally in operations, logistics, or last-mile, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a data-driven mindset, and experience in G-Suite (particularly in Gsheets), and solid SQL skills.
  • Communication: Fluent communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
  • Experience: Experience with Looker or similar (i.e., Power BI) or Python/R.
  • Industry: Experience in the Food Delivery / Q-Commerce industry.
  • Language: German is a plus.
