Head of Search Engine Optimization

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of SEO to join our team at ABOUT YOU. As a key member of our Marketing Intelligence and Technology unit, you will be responsible for driving our SEO strategy and ensuring our online presence is optimized for maximum visibility and engagement.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of SEO professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of our SEO initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze our website's performance using various tools and metrics, and make data-driven decisions to improve our online presence.
- Collaborate with our shop development, content creation, and performance marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of SEO best practices across all areas of the business.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SEO and adjust our strategy accordingly to ensure we remain competitive in the market.
- Proven experience in an SEO leadership role, preferably in an international, large-scale ecommerce environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex strategies into actionable tasks.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and open communication.
- Proficiency in technical SEO fundamentals, including client-server interactions, HTTP status codes, and crawling/rendering/indexing processes.
- Experience with common SEO tools, such as Search Console, Audisto, Screaming Frog, and Sistrix.
- Professional English skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively in our international working environment.
