About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of SEO to join our team at ABOUT YOU. As a key member of our Marketing Intelligence and Technology unit, you will be responsible for driving our SEO strategy and ensuring our performance in organic search engine results across all markets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with our business goals
  • Lead the SEO team and foster a culture of transparency, continuous learning, and development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO features and drive business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SEO and assess their impact on our strategy
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure SEO success
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an SEO leadership role, preferably in an international ecommerce environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive decisions based on data
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive projects forward across stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and implement scalable solutions that can be applied across all shops
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including client-server interactions, HTTP status codes, and crawling/rendering/indexing processes
