Head of Data Security and Compliance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Head of Data Security and Compliance. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that BuildingMinds is compliant with all applicable data protection laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Data Protection and Compliance
- Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant laws.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential data security threats.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that data protection and compliance are integrated into all business processes.
- Information Security
- Implement and maintain information security management systems to protect BuildingMinds' data and systems.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to ensure prompt and effective response to security incidents.
- Collaborate with the Information Security Officer to ensure that information security is integrated into all business processes.
- Training and Awareness
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data protection and compliance.
- Conduct regular awareness campaigns to promote data protection and compliance among employees.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders on data protection and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as data protection authorities and industry associations, to stay up-to-date on the latest data protection and compliance developments.
- Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as law, computer science, or information security.
- Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in data protection and compliance, with a focus on documentation and ISO 27001 certification.
- Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR.
- Strong knowledge of information security management systems and standards, including ISO 27001.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
