Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Security and Compliance Specialist to join our team at virtualQ GmbH. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customers' data. You will work closely with our engineering team to implement and maintain our Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the security and compliance of our IT systems and data.
- Provide expert advice to our enterprise customers on IT security and data protection best practices.
- Review and coordinate customer contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our ISMS and data protection practices.
- Administer and develop our ISMS in accordance with ISO 27001 standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT security and/or data protection.
- Strong technical knowledge and interest in IT security, data protection, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of data protection regulations and laws.
- Self-motivation and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and experience with ISMS implementation.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Experience with DevSecOps is an asset.
