Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Target Control Specialist to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a Target Control Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining target control systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of live fire training exercises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain target control systems, including Tower Range Control Stations and Portable Handheld Computers.
  • Monitor and control target systems during live fire training exercises, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on target systems, identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with range personnel and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation of target systems.
  • Develop and implement procedures for target system maintenance and operation.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license class C1E.
  • English Language Proficiency level A1 and German Language Proficiency level A2.
  • 2 years of creditable experience in a related field, including clerical work, computer operations, and maintenance.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
