Target System Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Target System Operator to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our target systems, ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of live fire exercises and individual marksmanship qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Tower Range Control Station or Portable Handheld Computer of various Target Systems
  • Monitor range exercise activities and respond to malfunctions or discrepancies
  • Coordinate with maintenance and range personnel to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform target system checks and maintenance operations
  • Communicate with training units and range personnel
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license class C1E
  • English Language Proficiency level A1 and German Language Proficiency level A2
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
