Workday Absence and Time Tracking Lead

As the Manager of People Technology Development, you will take the lead in advancing technological innovations within Workday, focusing on essential people processes and services. You will be responsible for the functional domains of Workday Absence and Time Tracking, including reporting capabilities within these areas. Your primary goal is to drive the configuration, development, and enhancement of Workday Absence and Time Tracking functionalities. Throughout your responsibilities, you will ensure the comprehensive delivery of Workday development and maintenance, aligning with the strategic objectives of People Tech and Wolt.

This position offers the chance to design and maintain global time tracking and absence solutions, necessitating a proven track record in configuring absence and time tracking within Workday. You will collaborate across various functions, lead your projects, and guarantee the successful implementation of solutions that streamline operations, enhance scalability, and improve user experiences.

At Wolt, we are currently engaged in a significant Workday redeployment with DoorDash, integrating Workday into the combined organization of Wolt and DoorDash. This presents a unique opportunity to be part of a special and global initiative in the Workday implementation landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee your designated area within the Time and Absence team in People Tech, concentrating on the time tracking and absence functionalities of Workday.
  • Lead and participate in digital transformation and automation projects to improve the efficiency and scalability of people processes.
  • Manage development sprints and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of Workday time tracking and absence designs and processes.
  • Contribute to the development of HR reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships and drive comprehensive solutions.
  • Work alongside colleagues in diverse locations as part of a truly inclusive team.
  • Stay informed about Workday releases to effectively utilize new features.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience with Workday Absence and Time Tracking.
  • Strong grasp of core people processes, integrations, and user-centric design principles.
  • Proficient in HR reporting and analytics, including advanced skills in Excel.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with fluency in English.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and demonstrated initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing requirements and prioritizing projects effectively.
  • Previous experience in project leadership roles utilizing various project methodologies.
  • High self-leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
