Databricks, a leading player in the Unified Data Analytics and AI space, is expanding its presence in Central Europe and seeking an experienced Account Manager to focus on the automotive sector in Germany.

As part of our rapid expansion, we are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and KPIs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large enterprise-class automotive clients in Germany and a deep understanding of consumption-based land and expand sales models.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building positive relationships with key decision-makers at one of Germany's largest automotive companies, establishing themselves as a trusted advisor for Data & AI-related subjects. They will assess their key account, develop a strategy to meet and exceed revenue and consumption goals, and implement this strategy to achieve desired results.

We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the key account and developing a strategy to meet and exceed revenue and consumption goals
  • Implementing the strategy to achieve desired results
  • Building positive relationships with key decision-makers and establishing themselves as a trusted advisor
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing expand/consumption use cases within the key account
  • Orchestrating internal teams to maximize impact on the ecosystem

We are looking for someone with:

  • A successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and KPIs
  • Experience managing large enterprise-class automotive clients in Germany
  • Proven experience selling complex software deals
  • Understanding of consumption-based land and expand sales models
  • Evidence of creating demand that delivered substantial business value
  • Experience following robust sales methodologies and processes
  • Fluent English and German language skills essential
