We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Systems Department at St. George's School Cologne. This role offers the flexibility to work from various locations within our network, including the Cologne Head Office, Munich, or Düsseldorf Rhein-Ruhr campus.

Position: Systems Support Specialist (m/f/d)

As a vital member of our innovative Systems Department, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills while contributing to the development and maintenance of our systems portfolio, which includes platforms such as iSAMS, My School Portal, SchoolPost, SOCS, and Seesaw. Our team actively utilizes these systems to meet the academic and operational needs of our organization, including self-hosting our iSAMS solution and engaging in SQL scripting and SSRS reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to user satisfaction, ensuring that our community of students, parents, and staff receive exceptional support while managing a diverse range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Your Main Duties

This position is crucial within the Systems Department, focusing on:

  • Delivering first-line support and resolution for incidents and user requests
  • Assisting users in maximizing the effectiveness of the systems they utilize
  • Ensuring the stability, security, reliability, and efficiency of existing systems while maintaining data integrity and quality
  • Overseeing projects related to system implementation and enhancements
Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Proven technical expertise with strong ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Experience in supporting educational software solutions is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (German language skills are not required)
