We are seeking a PAS Lead Engineer to enhance our engineering capabilities.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business growth by leveraging your expertise to assist the sales and proposals team in identifying and pursuing new business avenues. As a key member of the Project Management team, you will take charge of delivering a portfolio of projects, utilizing the global resources and standards of Emerson Process Management while meticulously coordinating the project team.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting the Project Lead or Project Manager in comprehending, managing, and fulfilling customer expectations while effectively coordinating with product vendors, subcontractors, and other Emerson teams.
  • Taking responsibility for all engineering tasks related to assigned projects, employing methodologies and resources to minimize execution costs while adhering to quality and schedule standards.
  • Developing a realistic project timeline and providing essential information to ensure resource requirements, progress, and risk areas are clearly communicated.
  • Serving as the primary contact for all technical communications with customers regarding assigned projects, ensuring all team members, including third parties, are well-informed.
  • Contributing to the procurement process by creating detailed specifications for subcontracted work and services, along with required delivery timelines.
  • Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the scope of work for all engineering tasks, delivering them to the required quality, budget, and schedule, and promptly informing the Project Lead or Manager of any changes initiated by the customer.
  • Verifying that all engineering activities comply with the Company's quality control procedures and meet the relevant standards, while always adhering to HSEQ standards.
  • Fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all project team members, actively assisting them in achieving their personal development goals.
  • Contributing to bid activities to ensure customer requirements are thoroughly understood and proposing innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Acquiring, maintaining, and sharing knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the broader organization.

Qualifications Required:

  • State-certified technician with vocational training in fields such as electronics for automation technology or equivalent qualifications.
  • A minimum of several years of relevant experience with a proven track record in system design, implementation, and acceptance testing phases of projects.
  • Ability to work autonomously and adhere to defined timelines.
  • Extensive experience in direct customer engagement and expectation management.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in local language and strong English skills (both verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DeltaV systems.
