Senior PAS Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a PAS Lead Engineer to contribute to our dynamic organization.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing our business objectives by leveraging your expertise to assist the sales and proposals team in identifying and pursuing new business avenues. As a key member of the Project Management team, you will be accountable for overseeing the execution of a range of projects, utilizing the global resources and standards of Emerson Process Management while coordinating the project team effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Collaborating with the Project Lead or Project Manager to comprehend, manage, and fulfill customer expectations while coordinating with product vendors, subcontractors, and other Emerson teams.
  • Taking charge of engineering tasks for all assigned projects, proactively implementing methodologies and resources to optimize execution costs while adhering to the necessary schedule and quality standards.
  • Assisting in the formulation of a realistic project timeline and providing essential information to ensure that resource requirements, progress, and potential risks are clearly communicated.
  • Serving as the primary contact for all technical communications with customers regarding assigned projects, ensuring that all team members, including third parties, receive pertinent information.
  • Supporting the procurement process by preparing detailed specifications for subcontracted work and services, along with necessary delivery timelines.
  • Fully understanding the scope of work for all engineering tasks and ensuring delivery meets quality, budget, and schedule requirements, while promptly informing the Project Lead or Manager of any customer-initiated scope changes.
  • Ensuring that all engineering activities comply with the Company's quality control processes and standards, consistently adhering to HSEQ standards.
  • Fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all project team members and aiding them in achieving their personal development goals.
  • Actively participating in bid activities to ensure a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and proposing innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Continuously acquiring, maintaining, and sharing knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the broader organization.

Qualifications Required:

  • State-certified technician with completed vocational training, such as electronics technician for automation technology or equivalent.
  • A minimum of several years of relevant experience with a proven track record in system design, implementation, and project testing phases.
  • Ability to work autonomously and adhere to defined timelines.
  • Extensive experience in direct customer engagement and expectation management.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in local language and strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with DeltaV systems.
