We are seeking a PAS Lead Engineer to contribute significantly to our engineering initiatives.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the overarching business development goals by leveraging your expertise to assist the sales and proposals team in identifying and pursuing new business ventures. As a key member of the Project Management team, you will be accountable for overseeing the execution of a range of projects, utilizing Copeland's global resources and standards while meticulously coordinating the project team.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting the Project Lead or Project Manager in comprehending, managing, and fulfilling customer expectations while coordinating with product vendors, subcontractors, and other teams.
- Taking charge of engineering tasks for all assigned projects and proactively implementing methodologies and resources to minimize execution costs while ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards.
- Helping to develop a realistic project timeline and providing essential information to ensure that resource requirements, progress, and potential risks are clearly communicated.
- Serving as the primary contact for all technical communications with customers regarding assigned projects, ensuring that all team members and third parties have access to necessary information.
- Assisting in the procurement process by detailing specifications for subcontracted work and services, along with required delivery timelines.
- Thoroughly understanding the scope of work for all engineering tasks and ensuring delivery meets quality, budget, and schedule requirements, while promptly informing the Project Lead or Manager of any changes initiated by the customer.
- Ensuring that all engineering activities comply with the company's quality control processes and standards, while consistently adhering to health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all project team members and actively aiding them in achieving personal development goals.
- Contributing to bid activities to ensure comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and proposing innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Acquiring, maintaining, and sharing knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the broader organization.

Qualifications Required:
- State-certified technician with vocational training in fields such as electronics for automation technology or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of several years of relevant experience with a proven track record in system design, implementation, and testing phases of projects.
- Ability to work autonomously and adhere to established timelines.
- Extensive experience in direct customer engagement and managing expectations.
- Valid driving license.
- Proficiency in local language along with strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DeltaV systems.
