Software Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team at meinestadt GmbH. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- People Leadership: Motivate, supervise, and lead a software development team in disciplinary and technical terms. Establish personalized development or improvement plans, hold regular one-on-one meetings with team members, and cultivate a feedback-rich, non-retaliatory environment that encourages open communication.
- Delivery & Quality: Provide technical direction and guidance to the team, ensuring the technical integrity of the product. Ensure the delivery of functional, complete, and high-quality code while aligning development with established technical standards. Focus on the timely delivery of new features and the maintenance of existing ones, upholding high engineering excellence metrics.
- Management: Collaborate closely with the Product team to drive the implementation of appropriate technological advancements. Take ownership of technical incident management, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any issues that arise.
We are looking for a candidate with several years of software engineering experience coupled with more than 2 years in leadership roles. Solid technical expertise in designing and developing large-scale, end-to-end software solutions is essential. Passionate about people, you should be able to offer support and guidance to your engineers while avoiding micromanagement.
