Role Overview

Your team for this mission:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee our Avionics and Flight Control project teams. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to guide the teams in achieving their objectives on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while ensuring clear visibility of the project's critical path.

Key Responsibilities:

Spearhead a complex technical initiative within a cross-functional team. Provide essential information and motivate teams to meet their deliverables on time, within budget, and to quality specifications. Coordinate specific plans with relevant stakeholders, program management, and planners from various departments. Monitor risks, tasks, and outstanding issues, develop mitigation strategies, and assist in eliminating obstacles. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by questioning existing practices and suggesting innovative solutions to enhance project timelines and performance. Maintain transparency regarding budget status. Develop work breakdown structures, capacity planning, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Over 5 years of project management experience, ideally in a technology-oriented setting. Extensive experience in aircraft development programs, including familiarity with development processes (ARP 4754) from pre-development through to production and entry into service. Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project). Adaptability to change and the ability to prioritize tasks based on evolving business requirements. Strong command of English, both written and spoken. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
