Role Overview
Your team on this journey:
We are seeking a driven and skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee our Avionics and Flight Control project teams. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to guide the teams in achieving their objectives within the constraints of time, budget, and quality, while ensuring clear visibility of the project's critical path.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead intricate technical initiatives within a cross-functional team. Provide essential information and motivate teams to meet their deliverables on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate specific plans with relevant interface partners, program management, and other departmental planners. Monitor risks, tasks, and unresolved issues, develop mitigation strategies, and assist in removing obstacles. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by questioning current methodologies and suggesting innovative solutions to enhance project timelines and performance. Ensure transparency regarding budget status. Develop work breakdown structures, capacity planning, and manage stakeholder relationships.Required Qualifications:
Evaluate your professional qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Over 5 years of project management experience, ideally in a technology-centric environment. Extensive experience in aircraft development programs, including knowledge of development processes (ARP 4754) from pre-development through to production and entry into service. Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project). Adaptability to change and the ability to prioritize tasks based on evolving business needs. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
