Avionics Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our Avionics and Flight Control project teams at Volocopter GmbH.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a complex technical topic in a transversal team, driving the teams to deliver results in time, cost, and quality using technical knowledge.
- Provide all relevant information and drive the teams to deliver results in time, cost, and quality using technical knowledge.
- Ensure synchronization of specific plans with relevant interface partners, program management, and planners from other departments.
- Track risks, tasks, and open issues, develop mitigation actions, and assist in removing blockers.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing methodologies and proposing innovative solutions to optimize project timelines and performance.
- Provide transparency for budget status.
- Create the work breakdown, capacity planning, and stakeholder management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong experience in aircraft development programs, including development processes (e.g. ARP 4754) from pre-development over development, production towards entry into service.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Ability to adapt to change and prioritize tasks based on changing business needs.
- Excellent English skills in written and speaking.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
