We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Project Leader to oversee our Avionics and Flight Control project teams. The ideal candidate will be accountable for guiding the teams to achieve their objectives within the constraints of time, budget, and quality, leveraging their technical expertise while ensuring ongoing visibility into the project's critical path.
Your objectives during this journey:
- Steer a complex technical initiative within a cross-functional team.
- Deliver all pertinent information and motivate the teams to meet their goals regarding time, budget, and quality through your technical acumen.
- Coordinate specific plans with relevant interface partners, program management, and planners from various departments.
- Monitor risks, tasks, and unresolved issues, devise mitigation strategies, and assist in eliminating obstacles.
- Encourage a culture of continuous enhancement by questioning existing practices and suggesting innovative solutions to improve project timelines and outcomes.
- Maintain transparency regarding budget status.
- Develop the work breakdown structure, capacity planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience in project management, ideally in a technology-focused environment.
- Significant experience in aircraft development programs, including development processes (e.g., ARP 4754) from pre-development through production to entry into service.
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Capability to adapt to changes and prioritize tasks according to evolving business requirements.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
