About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in San José. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for searching for new sales opportunities, extending our customer base through customer acquisition activities, and designing and developing complex technical adhesive and processing solutions in multiple high-tech industries.

Your Responsibilities

  • Search for new sales opportunities and extend our customer base through customer acquisition activities
  • Design and develop complex technical adhesive and processing solutions in multiple high-tech industries
  • Collaborate with executives and the Engineering team in the US as well as in Germany
  • Provide start-up project development and ongoing customer support
  • Internal and external project management and control
  • Set up local sales network
  • Visit and represent DELO at various trade shows

Your Skills

  • You are located in the Bay Area (San José)
  • Degree in Engineering, i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Science, Physical Engineering, or similar technical areas (Bachelor's required, Master welcome)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical corporate environment
  • A minimum of 2 years of customer support – sales experience is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems
  • Prior expertise in adhesives is not required as you will get intensive and exciting training in Germany
  • Willingness to travel
