Sales Engineer San José

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in San José. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, developing complex technical adhesive and processing solutions, and collaborating with our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for new sales opportunities and extend our customer base through customer acquisition activities
- Design and develop complex technical adhesive and processing solutions in multiple high-tech industries
- Collaborate with executives and the engineering team in the US and Germany
- Provide startup project development and ongoing customer support
- Internal and external project management and control
- Set up local sales networks
- Visit and represent DELO at various trade shows
Requirements
- Located in Bay Area (San José)
- Degree in Engineering (Bachelor's required, Master's welcome)
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical corporate environment
- A minimum of 2 years of customer support – sales experience is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems
- Willingness to travel
