Job Description

Arrow Electronics, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Product Portfolio Analyst to join our team in Neu-Isenburg, Germany.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Product Group Manager to improve inventory quality, increase turn, reduce Slow Moving Inventory (SMI), and meet customer requirements.
  • Manage inventory, profiling, scheduling, and backlog management of Purchase Orders (POs) to meet Customer Request Dates (CRD).
  • Develop and execute product strategies with key interfaces.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers, sales, and end customers.
  • Develop Oracle CPI and BPO requirements to improve service levels.
  • Influence suppliers to proactively discriminate in favor of Arrow and our customers.
  • Act as an escalation route for service recovery issues.
  • Resolve Invoice Price Variance (IPV) and Non-Conforming Receipts (NCR) issues with the Primary Distribution Center (PDC) and Finance Department.
  • Manage volume aggregation to improve margin.
  • Implement Slow Moving Inventory Management, review, and reduction.
  • Negotiate stock packages with the Product Supply Manager.
  • Prepare and execute supplier meetings.
  • Act as a single point of contact for the Sales Team for all cases related to stock, backlog management, and lead times.
  • Lead time management and implementation in Oracle and Planet Arrow with the Data Management department.
  • Process scrap and supplier returns with the Data Management and Finance departments.
  • Act as a supplier champion for all Asset needs.
  • Support intercompany inventory transfer.
  • Manage Asset attribute management (File).
  • Collaborate with the Product Supply Manager, Product Group Manager, and Data Management department to manage UDPs.
  • Work on the daily action list in Demantra and ASCP.
Requirements:
  • You must have a legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
  • You have obtained or will obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing-related studies, or similar within the last 2 years.
  • You must be fluent in German and English (oral and written).
  • You have a sound knowledge of business administration practices and how to apply them to daily business and strategy.
  • You have a good understanding of commercial business strategies.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can interact proactively with the team, suppliers, sales organization, and other relevant teams.
  • You are highly organized and willing to support our sales team to grow the business and improve profitability.
  • You are keen to support and drive process improvements.
  • You have an excellent service mindset.
  • You are a team player.
  • You must be flexible and have geographical mobility.
  • You are a creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings new ideas to the table and is not afraid to share them.
