Position Overview

At Alpha Industries, we are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of:

Merchandise Planner (m/f/d)
In this position, you will be instrumental in aligning supply with demand for our premium product offerings, thereby enhancing our brand presence.

Your Responsibilities
  • Performance Management:
    • Deliver comprehensive insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and communicate business outcomes to essential stakeholders.
    • Analyze data trends and convert them into strategic initiatives.
    • Establish and oversee inventory clearance strategies at the individual style level.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Formulate and execute investment and divestment plans across various product categories to achieve financial objectives.
    • Generate forecasts through a bottom-up approach to influence assortment strategies in collaboration with merchandising teams.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Manage stock-sales strategies for key partners and evaluate risks or opportunities based on analytical data.
    • Oversee in-season business performance and reporting for primary partners.
Your Qualifications
  • University degree in (Economic) Mathematics or Business with a specialization in Supply Chain, Sales, Data Science, or Finance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in planning, merchandising, sales, controlling, or analytics, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial, product, and supply chain planning.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with numbers.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
  • Self-driven, organized, and a collaborative team player.
