Job Description

Your role as an IT Sales Specialist for the public sector will involve developing and implementing customized sales strategies to acquire new customers in this domain.

You will take ownership of a group of customers within your region, focusing on developing existing business relationships and expanding our presence in the market.

Your key responsibilities will include building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers in authorities and public institutions. This requires a deep understanding of customer needs and goals, which you will use to increase opportunities through a customer-focused value proposition.

You will utilize up-selling and cross-selling techniques to promote our complete service portfolio and tailor offerings to customers' needs. Additionally, you will identify necessary actions to improve the acquisition chances and overall appeal of opportunities.

To succeed in this role, it is essential to stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends to anticipate early market entry opportunities. You will collaborate with our marketing team to create success stories and develop targeted market approaches.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sales, preferably in IT or services for the public sector.
  • The ability to understand customer challenges and problems to present a solution that adds value.
  • Experience in selling and consulting complex IT solutions that require detailed explanations.
  • Established and proven success in developing trustworthy, long-term customer relationships.
  • Persuasive personality and excellent communication and negotiation skills to win over people.
  • Experience with complex pursuit processes, proposal development, and presentations that win new business.
  • Fluency in both German and English and ability to work with teams from different national and international locations.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
