Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Tech Ops Lead to join our growing tech team. The successful candidate will provide empathetic leadership to the team, coordinate with end-user groups, and provide remote support to employees in other countries and regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the growing team of international tech partners and students
  • Coordinate with end-user groups to determine best actions for support
  • Provide remote support to employees in other countries and regions
  • Coordinate and communicate change management (project rollout)
  • Contribute to the global IT strategy and ensure it is well-aligned with company needs
  • Use resilience to collaborate in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Liaise with local staff and stakeholders to ensure the overriding core focus on IT is extended globally
  • Ensure devised SLAs are maintained
  • Automate processes to improve efficiency
  • Align with key stakeholders in the broader Tech org to capitalize on overlaps
  • Align wide-spread changes as the company expands, adapts, and changes
  • Be hands-on with standard tooling configurations and implementation
  • Listen, train, and support our international user base (L1-L2 support)
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of Information Technology industry experience
  • Minimum of 4 years in a management role
  • Ability to demonstrate design thinking methodology
  • Having worked or interned in fast-growing start-up environments is a plus
  • Personally driven by making a greener, cleaner energy sector
  • Expertise in designing a highly optimized service desk system
  • Expertise in designing realistic SLAs
  • Experience with transformation/change management
  • Understanding and management experience with Tech tooling stacks
  • English fluency. Other languages are a plus
