Our Future Programmes department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager (Aerospace) to join our dynamic team.
Your Responsibilities- Identify new business opportunities within the Space & Defense sector and develop strategic plans for market expansion.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential customers and partners in the aerospace and defense industries.
- Actively participate in tender processes and lead proposal development efforts, tailoring solutions to meet specific client needs.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering team to develop customized products and solutions that address industry challenges.
- Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for business growth.
- Represent OHB Digital Connect GmbH at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to showcase our capabilities and expertise.
- A technical degree or equivalent education in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of proven experience in business development/sales within the Aerospace & Defense sector.
- A strong understanding of complex technical products and systems, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking abilities and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Willingness to travel and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse cultural environments.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
