Information Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Information Security Specialist. This is a full-time or part-time position in our IT Department.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and enhance a central Information Security Management System (ISMS) to safeguard our hospital's digital assets.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement and monitor security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Integrate ISMS aspects into ongoing and new projects, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
- Prepare comprehensive security status reports for our management team, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Design and implement IT policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Coordinate internal data protection activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Plan and execute security awareness programs, educating our staff on cybersecurity best practices.
- Provide consultation and support to our hospital management, offering expert advice on cybersecurity matters.
- Investigate security incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Law, or a related field.
- Have experience in Information Security with relevant certifications.
- possess knowledge of security standards, regulations, and risk management.
- Understand IT systems and technologies, including network architecture and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Be proficient in IT project management, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Be a team player with strong communication skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Have a structured and results-driven work approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Provide proof of required immunization, ensuring a safe working environment.
