About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our research team at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. As a Strategic Research Assistant, you will play a key role in helping us drive business growth and innovation through data-driven insights and strategic analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of strategic research projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Assist in the creation of presentation materials, such as reports, dashboards, and visualizations, to communicate research findings to stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and proposals to support strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
