**Job Responsibilities**

As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ordering goods from METRO's range into the combined customs nomenclature
  • Controlling customs handling of external service providers
  • Controlling exports to other countries outside of the EU
  • Creating tax registrations to the Düsseldorf main customs office for various consumption taxpayers (coffee, sparkling-wine)
  • Controlling and creating documents of dispatch of consumption taxpayers to other EU-member states (coffee and alcohol)
  • Supporting the development of new tools and storage structures in SharePoint

**Requirements**

  • You are currently enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, with a focus on tax or finance field
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Word and Excel
  • Fluent German language skills and very good English language skills
  • You are a true team player
  • Absolute reliability and a precise, independent work style
