Your Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team at Forschungszentrum Jülich, working on the development of quantum optimal control algorithms for electrochemical NMR applications. As a researcher, you will be responsible for implementing state-of-the-art quantum control algorithms in a Python library called JuMPO, which is currently being developed at our institute.

Your Tasks:
  • Implementing quantum control algorithms in JuMPO and incorporating them into the library
  • Experimental validation of pulses optimized with these algorithms
  • Benchmarking pulse optimization performances
  • Exchange with experimental NMR spectroscopists
Your Profile:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in chemistry, physics, data science, or computer science, with a focus on NMR spectroscopy and quantum control. The ideal candidate should have experience in Python programming and a good understanding of electrochemistry and spin dynamics. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research projects.
